Fake Urine is being used to cheat drug tests.
A company named Magnum Detox, based in California is manufacturing a synthetic substance for the sole purpose of helping people cheat drug tests. For $39.95 you recieve a bottle of yellow liquid and a small heating pad that you place in the microwave for 10 seconds and it will keep the fake urine warm for up to 6 hours. The manufacture's claim on the box says the purpose of the product is to "help protect your DNA".
Illegal In Some States
Sold under the name Synthetic Magnum it has already been declared illegal to sell in several states. In Texas, where it has become a popular purchase at convenient stores it is legal to sell, but if a person gets caught trying to falsify a urine test, they are charged with a class A or B misdemeanor.
When put to the test, Synthetic Magnum passed with flying colors as real and clean urine.
These types of products impact society in ways such as allowing people to perform dangerous and hazardess jobs while under the influence of drugs, placing our entire workforce at risk everyday.
